What to expect on your first visit to Munster Church
A warm welcome from everyone around you!
People dressed in their version of Sunday Best. Suits and ties or jeans, we are glad you are here!
Warning: We love to sing! We fully embrace the command, “Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises!” Psalm 98:4
What should I wear?
At Munster Church you will see people in jeans, shorts, dresses, suits and everything in between. We have no dress code. So wear what you feel comfortable wearing.
What time does the service start?
The morning service starts at 9:30 am. We also have an evening service at 5pm. Periodically we have “combined” services in the evening on Sundays with other churches in the area so it’s a good idea to check the calendar.
Where is your church located?
Our building is located at the corner of Ridge and Hohman in Munster, IN. Click here for more detailed directions.
What kind of music can I expect to hear?
Our worship is a blend of traditional & contemporary music. We strive to sing songs that get people excited about worship, but more importantly, it is our aim that our worship fully glorifies God in word, style, and practice.
Is there childcare provided?
Yes. We have recently updated our nursery which can be found downstairs in our building. When you drop your child off you will be handed a little pager so we can notify you as necessary.
What other opportunities are there to get involved?
We have a number of programs for people of all ages! These include Bible studies, a couples club, high school and middle school youth programs, children’s programs, and much more! For details and a complete list of opportunities contact Justin Makowski, Director of Connections at the church office (219)-836-3121 or via email firstname.lastname@example.org
Do you have any accommodations for the hearing impaired?
Yes, we have recently installed a “Hearing Loop” system in our building. Most modern hearing aids are equipped with a “T-Coil”. If you sit in our main seating area and switch your hearing aid to “T-Coil mode” you will hear the service transmitted directly into your hearing aid. External headphone devices are available for people who do not have a T-coil.
